In my recent effort to improve response time of this server without upgrading memory, I have removed snap.com previews.

While I initially found snap previews to be handy, I became more ambivalent over time. I still believe that snap.com has been doing an excellent job of trying to address criticism against it by making it possible for end users to optionally enable it or disable it, there is enough pushback on it and some very good arguments against its use. I also found that it slowed rendering down, at least for me.

I already have issues with slow rendering on this site, and am slowly "cleaning" my server up. So, one of the things to go was the snap.com previews.
