Japanese Addresses And Other Opposites
I really enjoyed this video. I vaguely remember being confused by Japanese addresses when I first got to Japan, but my focus at the time was learning how they do it. I never really thought about this in depth, but their addressing is definitely different from the U.S. The following post, entitled Japanese Addresses and other opposites, by Derek Sivers. It’s well done.
As you can see, it’s not really about Japanese Addresses per se, but rather how differing viewpoints, even opposite viewpoints, can be both true and valid.
